The birthday weekend
Last weekend was my 22nd birthday on Martin Luther King Day. It was nice to have a long weekend to celebrate my birthday instead of having to go to school and do homework. I felt to reward myself by not doing anything related to school from after my last class Thursday at 10:45 am until my first class Tuesday at 9:30. That turned out to be a great decision with the Jazz getting a great and mildly surprising win from the unlikliest of heroes... Sundiata Gaines!! Sick buzzer beater to slay LeBron and the Cavs. That started off a great weekend of sports. If it was warm enough here I definitely would have played golf. I'm not sure why now but for the first time since I last played at Thanksgiving I am feeling the fever to get out and play. Hopefully soon enough (I've got President's Day Weekend circled right now). Anyways, I contented myself to watch golf for 3 days, as well 3 football games and going to the Jazz Bucks game. Sunday was pretty full as well. We had the MoTab Choir broadcast, family dinner, some church and the premiere of 24 to squeeze in. Monday, my actual birthday, was a nice relaxing day. I slept in a bit and woke up to a nice waffle breakfast from my Mommy. After finishing up the 24 premiere, I finally went to The Blindside. What a sweet movie and I'm not ashamed to say I cried just a little bit. Finished off the night with some great Market Street Grill and some time with the parentals before making my return to PTown. A great relaxing weekend for the birthday. This weekend was equally great. A win for the BYU men's volleyball team over the Stanford Cardinal, a whole lot of advanced minesweeper, and a way fun date country dancing(we were robbed out of the novice dance-off crown..... maybe next time.) Today we had a great day of church and a great dinner with friends... Thanks Suz. Not too much to complain about for me... except looking for a job. Anyone know of anything... let me know. Until next week. Peace and Love.
